A trip to Morocco for the second time. Confronted with the firm unwillingness of locals to be photographed, something that is deeply rooted into the cultural belief that taking a picture means taking away your soul. Which should of course be respected, but is quite a pity if you ask me, as the country is really very photogenic. Some pictures. The full gallery can be found here.

From my series ‘Moroccan Trail’ the first picture was awarded by the Leica Fotografie International curators as Leica Master Shot.
The second picture was curated on Leica Fotografie International as a top representative in the permanent gallery ‘Africa’.
